Wow, I just read over the biscuit post, it’s insanely long. I apologize, I just wanted to be thorough, please understand that it is not as scary as it looks, and it is worth it. I just wanted to share with you what I have coming up recipe wise on the blog, so here it is.

I bought Cilantro and Red & Yellow Bell Peppers this weekend at the Superstition Ranch Market. The Red Peppers were 4 for a dollar, the Yellow Peppers were 3 for a dollar, and the cilantro was 4 bunches for a dollar. How could you possibly beat this price? The peppers were high quality this time (they aren’t always the best) and the cilantro was very fresh. If you live in the Mesa, AZ area and you want produce, go to the Ranch Market and be amazed at the prices. There’s one on Main between Greenfield and Higley, and one on Apache Trail between Signal Butte & Meridian.

I roasted the peppers (recipe #1) in the oven added them to the food processor with the cilantro leaves and made a Red Pepper Chimichurri (Recipe#2). Then with the Cilantro Stems I made a Green Curry (recipe #3) that smells fantastic. I used roasted garlic (recipe#4) in both recipes. I owe you a bread recipe that I hope to get to this week, it probably won’t be a baguette (recipe #5) just yet, I’m leaning towards a foccacia (recipe #6), but it might be a ciabatta (recipe #7). I also owe you a tofu recipe because I know you have all made tofu and now need someway to use it. I might use some of the chimichurri with the tofu and some extra roasted peppers to make a nice veggie wrap (recipe #8). I made it all the way into the city yesterday so I stopped by Whole Foods and got some tempeh (I’ll do a tempeh post as its one of my personal favorites). With this I’ll have some terriyaki soba noodles with tempeh (recipe #9) and maybe even a very healthy tempeh reuben (recipe # 10). Feel free to request any recipe you want me to post or ask any questions you have, just use the comments section. I do hope to get a poll up and running soon so that we can all vote on our favorites. Check out the tag cloud widget on the sidebar to the right, its pretty neat.

Thanks for stopping by,
