Wanna join a book club? Then just do it already, click on the link at the top of the screen that says book club, don’t be shy.
Beginning March 23, 2009 the Book of the Month will be The House of Sand and Fog by Andre Dubus. Buy it, go to the library and get it, join Bookmooch, i don’t care how you get it, just get it by next Monday. While you’re there, next month’s book will be The Soloist by Steve Lopez, no excuses, you have a month to find it.

I just purchased the books. I plan on actually finding time to read them this time. Hopefully.
I didn’t have any idea what the soloist would be about. And I dont really care, I will read whatever. But it was kinda neat, I was watching 60 minutes tonight (I know, Im an old person at heart) and they had the story on Steve Lopez and Mr. Ayers. So now Im looking forward to it! (I finally recieved the first book in the mail, so Im ready!)
Yeah, I got the idea after hearing an interview with Steve Lopez on NPR. I really liked what he had to say. It promises to be a good book.
