These hats are easy to make
Need a hat? A cozy little cap? Don’t go buy one. Make one. All you need is an old T-shirt, or some strechy fabric.
Measure the head of the person who is going to wear the hat.
Cut out this shape out of the fabric, making the base 1/2 of the head measurement plus one inch.
Sew the two pieces of fabric together, right sides together.
Hem the bottom edge as skinny or thick as you want. I thought thicker worked better.
Turn inside out. Tie knot in top.
Your done! Put on child. Smile.

Beth holds a Bachelor's degree in painting and needs to write something else here.
Is there a trick in measuring your child’s head? Evan is sort of known for his “huge noggin”.
No trick. My kids have huge heads, as well. OR at least 2 of them. Just kind of keep trying it on him as you make it.
I might have to attempt to make one for Carter! (Or wait until you get here in nov. to show me!)
