My mom used to have a subscription to Better Homes and Gardens. I would pour through those magazines each month, (even when I was young) drooling over the homes and decor and gardening ideas. I started cutting out my favorite ones and glueing them into a spiral notebook that eventually became pretty full. (Mom, have you seen that notebook anywhere?) Well, I now have my own subscription to Better Homes and Gardens, and I still drool over all the images in it. Lately I’ve been coveting my own home (even more than usual) one of the main reasons being so that I can decorate it and paint it however I want. These are some of the rooms I’ve especially liked lately.
LOVE the yellow walls and white molding. And the red chairs are to die for!
That ottoman/coffee table thing is neato-burrito.
I LOVE this bedroom! That end-table rocks.

Holy cow that kitchen is awesome! Look at that island. Do you think Jared would be in heaven? Cause I do.
I’ve heard that Domino is also a great decor/ design magazine. Any other recommendations? What do you use for inspiration? And will you buy me a house?

Beth, yes I will buy you a house. You are my list of “People to Hook Up When I Win the Lottery”. I like pottery barn magazines and the mag Real Simple sometimes has idea for home decor as well.

I like looking through Living whuch is Martha Stewarts magazine. Mom has a subscription. She sure thought up a lot of neat stuff while in Jail. (Martha Stewart, that is, not mom).
